The Colorado Master Gardener program is a community-based horticulture training and volunteer program through Colorado State University Extension. In Denver, 135 active Master Gardeners engage in over 40 volunteer projects, contributing approximately 5,000 volunteer hours and answering about 10,000 gardening questions annually. They help the public solve horticulture-related problems with scientific, research-based knowledge.
