Monroe Family Farms, established in 1936 by Lester Monroe in Weld County, is one of the oldest organic farms in Colorado. Now run by fourth-generation farmer Kyle Monroe and Samantha Caplan, the farm grows chemical-free vegetables on nearly 200 acres in Kersey, Colorado and operates one of the state's first CSA programs, delivering seasonal organic produce throughout the Denver metro area.
