Sara Lemmon is the founder and head brewer of 3rd Bird Kombucha. A former middle school science teacher, she launched the brewery in January 2020 inspired by her son Silas, whose GI and sensory processing challenges from autism led her to use her science background to craft balanced, gut-friendly fermented beverages.
